No, I didn't write this on my wedding day. I was a little busy. But happy.
The wedding was beautiful. I loved that my sister Leigh spent the entire previous day carving gorgeous pumpkins for the reception tables, and the previous year listening to me talk about our plans. I loved that my mom and dad made the same cookies they had at their wedding and brought them on the plane with them so Jon and I could serve them to our guests. I loved that my friend Sara spent months helping me research and sew a beautiful chuppah. And I loved that Jon and I sang to each other as part of the ceremony and and the reception.
