Production and Company Manager / Resident Designer 1998 - present
Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre (Grand Lake, CO)
Responsible for all aspects of design and production of scenery, props, lighting, and sound as well as theater safety for a three-show repertory summer season, one fall show, and one Youth Theatre Workshop production. Train and supervise members of the performing company (mostly students and recent college graduates) in the basics of technical theater.
Master Carpenter Summer Season 1997
Berkshire Theatre Festival (Stockbridge, MA)
Directed all daily scene shop operations including materials inventory and shop maintenance. Scheduled projects for and delegated assignments to a six-person crew. Instructed interns in proper shop procedures and safe operation of equipment.
Assistant to the Designer - Props Summer Season 1996
Williamstown Theatre Festival (Williamstown, MA)
Created various props and scenery decorations according to designers' specifications using techniques including welding, casting, upholstery, carving, painting, and joinery.
